Spring Session Promotions: • 20/20 Promotion: As most are aware APA memberships will increase to $25 in 2009. However, any new player that is planning on joining a team in the Spring Session can pay $20 between Nov 20th and Dec 20th and it will cover them for all of 2009. If you bring a new player into the League, get their membership application completed and their $20 to the office by Dec 20th, we will pay $5 of your 2009 renewal. This works for each new player you bring into the League. • Roanoke Blacksburg 200 Team Challenge: We are hoping to break the 200 team mark in the Spring Session and we need your help. Currently there are 88 Blacksburg Teams and 67 Roanoke Teams. If we break the 200 team total, we will run one singles board for each two new teams from that area for the community that grows the most. In the other area, we will run one singles board for every three new teams from that area. If we break 220 we will run a singles board for ever 1.5 teams in both areas. WHO GETS TO PLAY? The person responsible for organizing the team plus and a minimum of two invited guests. It could be more guests, but not more than 4. You don’t have to be a member of the new team. You just have to be the one that organizes it. We will use our March 1st team count for the criteria and new teams must have at least three new APA members to qualify. Posted by Andy Skerritt
